England won the toss and elected to field first as he(kevin pieterson) thought that the ball might swing a bit in the first two hours or so .Then England went on to bowl and got thrashed by the indian openers-Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir.The Duo added a hundred run partnership between them.Then after both the openers got out.It was the time of yuvaraj singh.He had to settle scores with the selectors.He made a blistering 139* not out and was well supported by Raina,Dhoni,Rohit sharma who added to the total.By the end of the 50th over India
made 387 for 6.That was an awesome total to put on the board.In reply to the india's score,England started off well but they could not withstand the bowling of Zaheer Khan and Munaf patel.The former got the first three England wickets.England then could not reach to that massive total and was allout for 218.Kevin Pieterson played the captain's innings.Now India leads the series with 1-0.
